Tournament will be a multi-game event consisting of three different game modes with high score challenges for each. Game modes will consist of:

  • Basketball
  • Reaction Wall 60
  • Shooters Headers

All game modes will be tallied up upon the final date of the competition, and the players with the highest scores will be awarded prize money, respective to their placement. Screenshots will be required for verification of score with online leaderboards. Additionally, VAL is requiring any and all submissions to include video of player attempts for verification. Spaces will be provided on the relevant forms for links to either an unlisted YouTube video, or a fileshare service such as Google Drive or Dropbox. Recording quality does not have to be professional level, but should be clear enough to provide the VAL team with an easily readable score.

Screenshots and videos can be submitted here:

Shooters Headers

Please note due to allowing for resubmissions it is necessary to utilize separate forms for each tournament event.

Tournament

Tournament will consist of several contests in a pentathlon style event with NO modifiers (video submissions MUST show the start screen to prove that no modifiers are being used).

For Basketball

  • High score OMW on hard for finals

For Reaction 60

  • Best individual score of three rounds for finals
    - Attempts will be screened by a member of the VAL team to ensure rule compliance. Video submissions MUST be sent in one continuous clip of the respective event portion, or else will be disqualified. Participants are not required to have professional grade equipment, however attempts and score should be easily viewable to VAL team. Use of the in headset recording feature is sufficient. A member of the VAL team will be available to any participants in need of assistance. As before, video submissions must be sent through either a file share service or an unlisted YouTube video.

For Shooters Headers

  • Best individual score of three rounds for finals-Level 5
    - Attempts will be screened by a member of the VAL team to ensure rule compliance. Video submissions MUST be sent in one continuous clip of the respective event portion, or else will be disqualified. Scoring and placement will work on a sliding scale for simplicity, and will be structured as follows across all events

  • 1st place score will receive ten points
  • 2nd place will receive 8 points
  • 3rd place will receive 6 points
  • 4th place will receive 5 points
  • 5th place will receive 4 points
  • 6th place will receive 3 points
  • 7th place will receive 2 points
  • 8th place or lower will receive 1 point

Points will be awarded based on high scores within events and the five participants with the highest combined points across the qualifier events will move on to the finals

Qualifier winners will be announced and reached out to privately using contact information provided during registration for instructions on finals submissions.

All data, such as tournament registration and screenshot submissions, will be collected through valvr.com

Screenshot submissions will be verified using in game leaderboards

Players must report results of their participation at the links posted above for each respective event. If players provide both in game names, VAL admins can work with Player 22 admins to verify, however this is not guaranteed.  VAL may provide a Google form link for screenshots at a later date in the VAL Discord, or by a direct message to a member of the VAL team

If a player replays a game mode and achieves a higher score than previously submitted, they can submit the higher score up until the close of the tournament. It is strongly encouraged you contact a member of the VAL team to let them know you’ve given a resubmission, but not required. If you have questions on this feel free to contact Vandlan#0319 on Discord.

Tournament deadline is final and new submissions will not be accepted after it has closed. In the event of extenuating circumstances, exceptions to this rule might be considered, and will be determined on a case by case basis.

In the unlikely event of a tie options will be discussed with the Rezzil team to determine the best course of action.
